What are Eco ties?
Eco ties are here! Our new idea to produce school ties from recycled plastic bottles. Eco-Ties are made by Keltic ties using yarn produced from recycled plastic bottles – how cool is that?
By rescuing plastic bottles from landfill sites and making school ties, we are cracking down on plastic waste. This is a much better idea than using crude oil to make yarn (which is how everyone else does it).
Eco-ties are made in our mill in Lancashire and go directly to your school with no middlemen – so they can also save you money.
Why Eco Ties?
By making your ties from recycled polyester yarn instead of polyester manufactured from oil, your school can:

- Save 2 plastic bottles from landfill for every Eco Tie (average number of bottles per tie)
- Avoid using crude oil unnecessarily

How it all Works
- Send – pop your existing school tie in the post to us
- Save – we’ll tell you how much you save by having your tie made from recycled yarn
- Sample – we’ll design a sample for you to approve
- Delivery – receive your eco tie along with a cool certificate stating how many plastic bottles you have saved from landfill
